Thank You Party January 21, 2012: FSU Center for global Engagement 3-5
Food Budget approximately $1,000.00 (Indian, China, Japanese, Filipino)
Entertainment will be coordinated by Aurora Hansen.
ACT will invite Experience Asia Performers and FSU/UF Volunteers
ACT will create an eVite for the event.

·Big Bend Hospice Fund Raising Event – 2012 Theme is Asia.
Mr. Jeff James (Big Bend Hospice volunteer) is the Music Director for the Event. Mr. James is asking assistance
from ACT in providing entertainment for the fund raising event. There will be two stages one 4X8 and another 8X16.
A planning meeting will be held Tuesday @ 2:00 PM. If interested to participate at the planning meeting call
Jeff James @ 8505390118 or email jpjames@gmail.com. The fund raising event will be held the last Thursday of April 2012
at the Tallahassee Nurseries. Cost per person is $ 100.00. ACT will post this event on the website (http://www.asiantlh.org)
once Mr. James provided the details.

·Springtime Tallahassee - March 31, 2012.
ACT will be participating with 2 entries. Salim Talib will coordinate with this event.
Melinda will coordinate the dance choreography during the parade. Phil Shoemaker will coordinate with Salim Talib on the
Springtime Tallahassee parade.

·FSU international bazaar March 24, 2012 - 2-6 PM. 6:30 till 10 FSU FASA Barrio Fiesta. ACT will
post this event once details are provided.

·Asian Pacific Heritage Month.
Possible school venues are Montford and Deer Lake Middle Schools.
Farris will setup a meeting with Jackie Pons on how to integrate Asian Pacific Heritage Month into the Leon County school system.
The ultimate goal is to promote Asian awareness to the school system.

·Other Matters
Submit IRS 990 to IRS
Finances $ 2289 from LC County Tourism.
COCA membership.
