Experience Asia 6th Annual Festival
Time:Saturday, October 9, 2010. at 10am-5pm
Location: Lewis and Bloxham Parks, Downtown Tallahassee
Learning about the ancient traditions of Asian culture. Music,
dance, arts, crafts, and of course, various Asian cuisine will
be featured.
Representatives from the Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Japanese,
Korean, Persian, Taiwanese, and Thai community will
be on hand to share traditions and practices unique to each culture.

International Students and Scholars Main Orientation
Time:Friday, August 13, 2010 at 10 am-4 pm
Location: The GLOBE "Center for Global Engagement, FSU
Our International Students and Scholars Main Orientation will be held on Friday, August 13 from 10am-4pm. Every year, we invite campus and community partners to participate in the Information Fair to promote your organization, departments or centers and the services you provide for FSU students.
This year, Information Fair will take place between 12:30-2:00pm at the Center for Global Engagement first floor on Friday, August 13th. You will be provided 1 table and 2 chairs, so just bring any materials that you want to hand to our new incoming group of international students and scholars. We are anticipating around 200 students in attendance. Lunch will be provided for up to 2 people per table. Please come around 12 to claim your table and have a set up ready for 12:30pm.

New Graduate Student Orientation

Location: outside of HCB, FSU
Indian Independence Day, Utsav - a cultural program, and India Day
Time:Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 12:00 Noon and 6 PM
Location: Moore Auditorium and quadrangle in front of Moore auditorium, FSU Campus
India Association of Tallahassee (IATLH) will be celebrating Indian Independence Day, Utsav - a cultural program, and India Day - a food and handicrafts fair. INSAT, and FSU-Center for Global Engagement (formerly FSU International Center) are partners in this program.
The event is open to public and the admission to the cultural event is free. Everyone is welcome to attend it with their families and friends!
